A Libyan student who went missing in Ukraine two days ago was found, announced Adel Issa, Libya’s ambassador in Kiev on Sunday.
According to Issa, Khaled Youssef Balam was found in Lviv, a a city in western Ukraine, around 70 kilometers from the border with Poland. The ambassador confirmed that Balam is in good health.
Issa confirmed that the Libyan Embassy in Ukraine continues to provide assistance to Libyans in Ukraine amid Russian invasion. Food and water were sent to a group of Libyans besieged at the Aleksandria Hotel in Kiev, Issa said.
