Libya’s AGOCO: New oil well starts production

The Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) announced the completion of G318 well at Nafoura oil field, located between Jallo and Ajkhara in southeastern Libya, and put it on production.

AGOCO said in a statement that it had completed all mechanical and ele2Qctrical work on the well.

The Company indicated that it had installed poles, insulators and booms, tightened wires to the final stage, and connected the electrical transformer to feed the ESP pump.

This is the third well out of a total of six wells being implemented, and work is still underway on wells G-242, G-292 and G-319.

Last October, AGOCO announced the entry of a new well in the Nafoura oil field, on the production line after taking the necessary safety measures to prepare it, as part of its efforts to increase production rates.
