Athens – The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Haftar, met on Thursday with the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Choupis.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance military cooperation between the Libyan Armed Forces and their Greek counterpart, and exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest, in a way that serves the interests of both countries and contributes to supporting efforts for security and stability in the region.
Lieutenant General Khaled Haftar also met with Greek Minister of Defence Nikos Dendias as part of the series of meetings he is conducting during his official visit to the Greek capital, Athens.
