Malta affirm its desire to enhance oil cooperation with Libya

Maltese Ambassador to Libya, Charles Saliba, affirmed his country’s keenness to enhance joint cooperation with Libya in all fields, especially in oil and gas sector.

The Ambassador was received on Sunday by the Libyan Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Oun, in his office in Tripoli, according to the Ministry’s Media Office.

Oun praised the Libyan-Maltese relations and welcomed the return of the activity of the Maltese embassy in Libya, and its expected pivotal role in strengthening the economic and political relations between the two friendly countries, especially its efforts to reopen the visa section for students, medical treatment and businessmen, as a first stage for joint cooperation with the Government of National Unity (GNU).
