Morocco Welcomes 11.6 Million Tourists in First Seven Months of 2025

Morocco attracted around 11.6 million visitors between January and July 2025, marking a 16% increase from the same period last year, the Tourism Ministry announced Thursday.

Tourism Minister Fatima Zahra Ammor said Morocco remains a favorite destination for millions worldwide, supported by domestic tourism, the Moroccan diaspora, and foreign travelers.

Tourism was the country’s second-largest source of foreign currency in 2024, after remittances, with a record 17.4 million visitors making Morocco Africa’s top travel destination last year.
