UN envoy to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily, said he met in Moscow with Sergey Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Minister, where they discussed the current situation in Libya and the challenges facing the restoration of the electoral process.
Bathily added that they “both agreed that the international community must play a crucial role in helping Libyan people achieve their goal of having inclusive parliamentary and presidential elections in 2023.”
