A meeting between members of Libya’s High Council of State and House of Representatives will focus on “executive authority, sovereign positions, and the constitutional path,” Ismail Al-Sharif, a member of Libyan parliament, told The Libya Update on Thursday.
Al-Sharif did not disclose the date of the meeting, however, he said it will seek to bring the country out of its political deadlock.
“The House of Representatives is still awaiting the High Council of State to finalize agreement on sovereign positions,” added the lawmaker.
