The National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announced the improvement of the epidemiological situation in Libya, confirming slowdown in the spread of the fourth wave of COVID-19.
The weekly epidemiological report, issued Saturday, indicated that the epidemiological spread decreased to 0.63 at the end of this week, stabilizing under 1 for more than five consecutive weeks.
The report noted that the percentage of positive cases continued to drop to 10%, coinciding with the decrease in the number of tests, indicating a slowdown in the spread of the disease.
It pointed out that the death rate has stabilized at 1.33 in line with the pace of the fourth wave.
