NOC chief to remain in post, report

Mustafa Sanalla will remain as the chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) following a dispute with the oil ministry, which resulted in his suspension, Bloomberg reported on Monday, citing an official source.

Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh made the decision to keep Sanalla, rescinding an earlier decision by Oil Minister Mohamed Aoun.

The Libyan premier brought together Sanalla and Aoun in a meeting on Sunday, to discuss “administrative and technical obstacles” between the oil ministry and the corporation, according to statement by the government.
