Tripoli – The National Oil Corporation held its annual technical and financial meeting for 2026 with Sarir Oil Operations Company at the company’s headquarters in Tripoli. The meeting reviewed plans to increase production rates, develop oil fields, expand drilling activities, improve operational performance, and enhance safety programs.
The participants examined the company’s activities from June 2025 to June 2026. Discussions covered field performance, oil reserves, and projected production rates for crude oil, associated gas, and free gas under several scenarios. The meeting also addressed development drilling, reservoir and laboratory studies, well maintenance, and repair operations, along with the company’s targets and programs for 2026.
The attendees discussed operational challenges and explored ways to overcome obstacles to ensure timely completion of proposed programs and projects. Both sides agreed to strengthen technical coordination and provide support for development plans to boost production rates, benefiting both the oil sector and the national economy.
The meeting was attended by technical directors and specialists from the National Oil Corporation, as well as members of the management committee and related department heads from Sarir Oil Operations Company.
