Libya’s state-owned National Oil Corporation (NOC) held a technical meeting last Monday with representatives of its Algerian counterpart, Sonatrach, to define an exploration plan to be carried out in 2024 in the Ghadames Basin, in western Libya.
According to NOC, this meeting is the first of an exploratory nature with Sonatrach, after the latter announced last November 7 that it had revoked the state of force majeure on the plots granted in Libya.
