Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, said on Saturday that Turkey has taken positive steps towards normalizing relations with Egypt, which he expects would impact the situation in Libya.
“Turkey’s decision to prevent members of the Muslim Brotherhood wanted by Egypt from appearing on the television media and social media is a step that, if sustained and continued, will lead to the normalization of relations between Cairo and Ankara at various levels,” Shoukry told an Egyptian television channel.
“The return of good relations between Egypt and Turkey will have an impact on the course of events in Libya, as the Libyan issue has an impact on Egyptian national security,” the Egyptian top diplomat added.
