One dead, two injured after GNU-LNA clash in Sabha

One person was killed and two others injured following early morning armed clash in Sabha between Government of National Unity and the Libyan National Army (LNA), according to Sabha Medical Center.

The GNU-affiliated 116th Battalion, led by Masoud Jadi, reportedly launched a surprise attack against LNA forces in the Southern city around 2 A.M.

An LNA source told the press that the army managed to repel the attack, forcing the GNU force to retreat.
