The Government of National Unity did not commit equal distribution of sovereign positions between Libya’s three main region, Aguila Saleh, Speaker of the House of Representatives, said on Wednesday.
In speech before parliament, Saleh accused the government of cultivating “centralization of power” by moving ministerial branches from the eastern region to the western region.
The House Speaker called out the foreign and interior ministers for not attending the parliamentary questioning on Tuesday. He also criticized the delay in issuing public wages for police and military workers based in the eastern region.
