Libya’s Presidential Council has directed the government to “harness all capabilities” to support Tunisia after the country was hit by a new wave of Coronavirus outbreak.
In a letter addressing Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, the council’s chairman Mohammed al-Menfi stressed that “the necessary measures must be put in place as soon as possible so that the brothers in Tunisia can face the pandemic.”
The council added that it is “in the interest of the Presidential Council and the Libyan people to support the brotherly Tunisian people in their ordeal.”
