The Russian embassy in Libya will resume work from inside the country soon, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov told reporters on Friday.
Last April, officials at the Ministry of the Interior discussed with the Chargé d’Affairs at the Russian Embassy in Libya, Jamshid Poltaev, security mechanisms and arrangements for reopening the Russian Embassy in Tripoli.
The Russian diplomatic mission in Libya has been operating since 2014 from Tunisia after their evacuation from Tripoli for security reasons.
