The Tripoli Security Directorate announced on Sunday that it has secured the second phase of the operation to transport the electric generator for the first unit of the South Tripoli power plant project, as part of a security plan aimed at ensuring the safety and smooth execution of the transport.
In a statement, the Directorate clarified that these efforts are part of ongoing measures to secure vital transport operations supervised by the General Electricity Company in coordination with the relevant security authorities.
The General Electricity Company had announced on Saturday that the transport of the first gas turbine generator for the South Tripoli gas power plant has been continuing since the early morning hours, heading towards the project site on Al-Sawani road. It confirmed that the operation is proceeding according to a well-studied plan to ensure the generator’s safe arrival at its new location.
