Tobruk – The Media Department of the Public Prosecutor’s Office announced that the Public Prosecution, within the jurisdiction of the Tobruk Court of Appeal, has received the results of a security operation conducted by the Tobruk Security Directorate, which resulted in the seizure of a large warehouse in the city used by a criminal gang to collect and smuggle fuel.
The Public Prosecution stated that it inspected 119 containers holding approximately 238,000 liters of fuel, stored in a hideout for use in smuggling operations.
The Public Prosecution ordered that a criminal case be filed against three individuals arrested at the warehouse site and directed the pursuit of the other suspects involved in the case.
