Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, affirmed his country’s keenness on reaching a Libyan consensus among the components of the people within the framework approved by the Security Council resolutions, the Berlin process, and the outcomes of the Libyan dialogue.
Shoukry added in a press conference Sunday that the presence of foreign forces in Libya complicates the situation and restricts the freedom of the Libyan people.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister stressed the need to exert efforts with regard to the unity of Libya and the exit of foreign forces.
It is noteworthy that Cairo hosts the constitutional dialogue sessions between the House of Representatives and the High Council of State in order to reach a constitutional consensus that leads to the holding of national elections.
