The Tripoli-based Stability Support Apparatus militia has mourned two of its members among those killed Saturday in the massacre in Abu Salim neighbourhood in Tripoli.
The Apparatus said Sunday its members were with a group “hit by treacherous hands,” offering its condolences to their families and loved ones, without further details about the incident.
Press sources said 11 people, including at least three brothers, were killed Saturday in Abu Salim neighbourhood, without specifying the identity of the killers.
Some of the sources described what happened as a “massacre,” pointing out that the neighbourhood falls within the sphere of influence of the Stability Support Apparatus, headed by Abdul-Ghani Al-Kakli, known as “Ghaniwa.”
It is noteworthy that the Apparatus is affiliated to the Presidential Council.
