The Sudanese Consulate General in Benghazi will begin facilitating the voluntary repatriation of Sudanese migrants, the country’s foreign ministry announced on Saturday.
This comes following an agreement between Sudan’s Consul General, Abdullah Abkar Saleh, and the director of the International Organization for Migration’s mission in Libya, Federco Soda.
As per the agreement, the IOM will organize flights from Benghazi to Khartoum for the deportees and those wishing to return voluntarily.
