The Libyan Criminal Investigation Agency announced the arrest of a “criminal wanted for serious cases”, most notably the premeditated murder of 22 Bangladeshi nationals in the city of Mizda south of Tripoli in May 2020.
The Agency clarified that other cases faced by the concerned person, numbering nine crimes, varied between robbery and premeditated murder, closing public institutions and a private bank in the city of Mizda by force of arms, in addition to intimidating and harming its employees.
The Criminal Investigation Agency confirmed that the results of the investigations led to his conviction of this crime, according to the irrefutable criminal evidence.
