Flights between Athens and Benghazi will launch on Thursday, the Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry announced on Tuesday.
The first flight between Athens (Eleftherios Venizelos) International Airport and Benghazi’s Benina Airport is scheduled to take place on 2 March, Greece’s Consul, Stavros Venizelos, confirmed to Libyan press.
Athens, Greece | The Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, chancellor Aguila Saleh, stressed the need to remove foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya, and to hold the Libyan presidential and parliamentary elections on time on December 24. This came during a meeting with the Speaker of the Greek Parliament Speaker Konstantinos Tasoulas.
