Libya’s Government of National Unity and the High National Election Commission (HNEC) are ready to hold elections “in the logistical and technical aspects,”announced the Tripoli-based government on Tuesday.

More than two million Libyans have registered to vote in the upcoming elections in December, since the registration opened in July 4th, which accounts for 48.62% of citizens eligible to vote, according to the High National Election Commission (HNEC).
