The United Nations will send needs assessment team to Libya in June to review preparations for elections, revealed Taher El-Sonni, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Libya to the UN, on Saturday.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations has affirmed “his personal interest and commitment” to end the crisis in Libya, said Taher El-Sonni, the country’s Ambassador to the UN.
