Tripoli – Activities are ongoing for the “Tamkeen” initiative at the National Institute of Administration, part of the Ministry of Civil Service. The initiative aims to strengthen and develop the skills of public sector employees across Libya. It is part of the ministry’s efforts to improve institutional performance and build human resource capacity.
The initiative is not limited to the National Institute of Administration in Tripoli. It also includes more than 14 training centers in various municipalities and regions, expanding its reach to benefit as many employees as possible. Since its launch in April, more than 1,678 public sector employees have participated in the program. They received specialized training in administrative, financial, and legal fields, as well as other areas that support institutional development.
The training sessions are led by a group of experienced trainers and experts. The program supports the administrative reform process in municipalities and government institutions, investing in human capital as a key driver of growth and development. The “Tamkeen” initiative continues to deliver its training programs in different parts of the country according to the approved 2026 plan, following organized schedules to ensure quality results and sustainable institutional improvement.
