The Basketball Federation organizes a training workshop for coaches

Tripoli – The Libyan Basketball Federation has announced a training workshop for coaches. The event coincides with World Basketball Day. It will be supervised by Tunisian coach Amin Rezig. The workshop is supported and sponsored by the Basketball Africa League (BAL).

The Federation stated the workshop will be held on December 20th. It will take place at the Al-Shabab Al-Arabi Club. Activities will begin at 10:00 AM. A group of Libyan coaches from various clubs will participate.

This event aims to improve the technical and tactical skills of coaches. They will learn the latest methods in basketball training. This keeps pace with the game’s rapid development in Africa and internationally. It will also enhance the competence of national staff.

The Federation confirmed this workshop is part of its plan to invest in human resources. It seeks to expand the pool of qualified coaches. This is achieved through cooperation with partners like the BAL.

The Federation noted that registration is open for interested coaches. A link is available on its official page. It urged them to seize this important training opportunity for basketball development in Libya.

This workshop is part of a series of activities organized by the Federation. These events celebrate World Basketball Day and aim to promote the sport locally.
