Sabha – The General Electricity Company announced on Thursday the successful completion of essential maintenance and rehabilitation on four high-voltage towers along the Sabha Airport route.
The work, focused on 66 kilovolt ( kV) towers numbered 59, 60, 61, and 62, is set to significantly enhance the stability of the public electricity grid. According to the company, these upgrades will improve the efficiency of power distribution and reduce service disruptions for residents in the region.
The project was executed by Al-Loud General Contracting Company, with supervision from the utility’s Southern Medium Voltage Network Maintenance Department, as part of a broader effort to rebuild and secure critical electrical infrastructure.
