Libyan Government of National Unity’s Foreign Ministry Welcomes Azerbaijan-Armenia Peace Agreement

Tripoli – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity has welcomed the announcement of a peace agreement reached between the republics of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

In a statement issued Saturday, the Ministry expressed its hope that this agreement will mark the beginning of a new era of cooperation, understanding, and the consolidation of security and stability between Armenia and Azerbaijan, serving the interests of both their peoples and contributing to the enhancement of peace and security in the South Caucasus region.

The Foreign Ministry commended the efforts of the United States administration in achieving this historic accord, expressing its appreciation for this important role and its contribution to promoting security and stability in the region and the world, thereby reinforcing the importance of resolving conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means.
