Paris – The National Development Agency, in collaboration with Business France, hosted the Libyan-French Business Forum for Construction and Development in Paris. The event featured the attendance of His Excellency Thierry Vallat, the Ambassador of the French Republic to Libya, alongside representatives from several French companies eager to enter the Libyan market and various key officials from the Libyan side.
The forum centered on showcasing ready-to-execute projects across vital sectors and exploring partnership opportunities through flexible cooperation models with international stakeholders.
During the sessions, the Director General of The National Development Agency, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Furjani, emphasized that the agency is currently implementing a comprehensive development program encompassing numerous projects throughout Libya. He highlighted the expansion of operations in the central and southern regions as a strategic move to bolster local development and solidify national stability.
Technical teams from the Agency presented the progress of ongoing works across various sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, urban development, agriculture, and industry. These initiatives align with the Vision 2030 framework, which aims to enhance the quality of life and foster sustainable economic growth.
The forum witnessed significant interest from French firms, which expressed appreciation for the scale and pace of the projects managed by the Agency and the tangible opportunities they provide for entering the Libyan market. The event concluded with specialized sessions and bilateral B2B meetings designed to transition these discussions into actionable and practical partnerships.
