The Technical Committee for the Green Mountain Afforestation Campaign visits the southern region in preparation for work

Wednesday, October 29, 2025 National 1 Min Read
The Technical Committee for the Green Mountain Afforestation Campaign visits the southern region in preparation for work.

The technical committee for the Green Mountain afforestation campaign, in cooperation with the Green Mountain Protection Chamber of the Agricultural Police Agency, conducted a field visit on Tuesday to sites south of the Green Mountain.
The visit was based on the instructions of the head of the agency, Major General Fawzi Khalifa Al-Maryami, and as part of the follow-up and coordination with the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, under the patronage of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa.
The visit aims to study the sites on the ground and develop a work plan in preparation for starting afforestation activities in the coming days, as part of the continuous efforts to enhance vegetation cover and protect the environment in the region.
