Tripoli – Representatives of the sovereign positions committees of the House of Representatives and the High Council of State signed an agreement in Tripoli on Thursday, regulating the mechanism for selecting the chairman and members of the High National Elections Commission, in addition to the occupants of positions in the National Anti-Corruption Authority and the Administrative Control Authority.
The agreement is a continuation of the understandings reached by the two committees and enhances the path of national consensus and political solution, following a series of intensive meetings and consultations between the two sides.
