Tunisian President Kais Saied met with Mohamed al-Menfi, chairman of Libya’s Presidential Council, on the sidelines of the AU-EU summit in Brussels on Friday.
According to a statement by the Libyan council, Saied commended the efforts of the council to achieve stability in the country “through the National Reconciliation Project, which opens the road to fair elections that satisfy all parties”.
The two also agreed to increase trade cooperation and border security between the two countries, the council stated.
