UN Adviser on Libya said Thursday she met in Tunis with Iranian Assistant Secretary of State for the Middle East and North Africa and Iranian Ambassador to Libya, where they discussed the current situation in the North African country.
“Yesterday I had the honor of meeting with H.E. Mir Masoud Hosseinian, Iranian Assistant Secretary of State for the Middle East & North Africa, and H.E. Mohammad Reza Raouf Sheibani, Iranian Ambassador to Libya, in Tunis to share perspectives on the current situation in Libya,” UN Adviser, Stephanie Williams, tweeted.
“We discussed the importance of constructive international engagement with Libya, and the role of all actors in ensuring that stability and peace are not threatened under any circumstances,” she added.
