Deputy of UN envoy to Libya, Georgette Gagnon, said she joined children, the Ministers’ of Social Affairs and Education, and UNICEF in Libya at a sports event in Tripoli on Saturday to celebrate World Children’s Day.
“Libya’s future is its children and the UN recommits to ensuring their rights to education, healthcare and best interests are realized,” Gagnon pointed out.
