Wadi Al-Shati – The University of Wadi Al-Shati held its first remote coordination meeting with the University of South Wales on Tuesday to explore opportunities for academic and research collaboration in fields of mutual interest.
According to a statement on its official page, the university said the meeting was part of efforts to expand international academic partnerships and strengthen research cooperation. The meeting was facilitated in advance by Atlantis Consulting and Training Company.
Both sides discussed ways to exchange expertise and develop joint research projects. Topics included environmental sciences, pollution control technologies, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and sustainability.
Participants from the University of Wadi Al-Shati included Dr. Ghazlan Meskin, Director of the International Cooperation Office, and Dr. Khaled bin Yusuf, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, along with several academics and researchers from the University of South Wales.
At the end of the meeting, the two universities agreed to continue coordinating and to hold future sessions in order to draw up an executive roadmap and turn their understandings into joint projects and research.
