U.S. ambassador and special envoy to Libya, Richard Norland, said he discussed members of the High Council of State efforts to establish a constitutional basis for Libya elections.
“I met with members of the High State Council, Abulkasem Gazait and Hassan Habib to discuss efforts to establish a constitutional basis and restore momentum to elections,” US embassy in Libya quoted Norland.
“We continue to engage with all sides to help move Libya toward the elections that the Libyan people deserve,” the ambassador said.
