US and UK ambassadors to Libya have met in Tunis with leaders of 19 Libyan parties during consultations hosted by the National Democratic Institute, according to US Embassy in Libya.
“I had the pleasure of meeting today with the leaders of 19 Libyan political parties during consultations in Tunis hosted by the National Democratic Institute (NDI),” the Embassy quoted US ambassador, Richard Norland.
“UK Ambassador Caroline Hurndall and I both witnessed their contagious enthusiasm. I admire their determination to help Libya restore momentum towards elections. The U.S. stands with them in this effort,” said Norland.
