The Attorney General’s Office confirmed that the West Misrata Primary Prosecution Office received a report that the manager of the Highway Services Company fuel station No. (125) was refusing to sell fuel.
The office added that investigations revealed forty thousand liters of diesel fuel were available in the storage tanks. It noted that despite this, the manager refused to allow residents to obtain it, intending to dispose of it for the benefit of smuggling groups.
Consequently, the Public Prosecution directed the Guard Apparatus and the Special Tasks Force to intervene and make the commodity available to those seeking to refuel. It also ordered that the statement of the distribution station manager be taken and that he be sent to the Public Prosecution to complete the investigations.
