World Health Organization (WHO) announced a decrease in the number of COVID-19 cases in Libya in August compared to July, coinciding with increase in laboratory tests in general.
Infections decreased by 20%, WHO reported, indicating an increase in laboratory tests by 20% as well.
Out of more than 1.54 million tests in Libya since the emergence of the pandemic, about 308,900 people tested positive for COVID-19, according to WHO.
