2.8M Libyans register to vote for December elections

More than 463 thousand new people have registered on Saturday to vote in the upcoming general elections on December 24, announced the High National Election Commission (HNEC) on Sunday.

This brings the total of registered voters to nearly 2.8 million, since the HNEC opened registration in July 4.

Only three days are left until the registration closes on August17.
