The Emergency Medicine and Support Center announced the recovery of remains and thirteen bodies of undocumented migrants during a survey of the coast from Zuwara to Ras Ajdir last week. The bodies were transported to the morgue for autopsy and documentation before being buried in the Abu Kammash cemetery under the supervision of the competent authorities.
The Center added that over the past two weeks, 38 bodies have been recovered from the areas of Zuwara, Abu Kammash, and Mellitah, in addition to the transfer and delivery of bodies between Tripoli and Zuwara, stressing the continued implementation of approved procedures to preserve human dignity.
