45 MPs submit request to withdraw confidence from GNU, says HoR Spox

Spokesman of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR), Abdulla Blaihiq, has announced the suspension of today’s session until next week.

Blaihiq explained that this came after 45 HoR members submitted a request to withdraw confidence from the Government of National Unity (GNU).

According to Article No. 194 of Law No. 4 of 2014, the request will be discussed and considered eight days after submitting it, the Spokesman added.

HoR discussed today GNU’s responses on the questioning session last week, he pointed out.
