Benghazi– The tanker VS Spirit docked this morning at the Jeliana Free Zone Port in Benghazi, loaded with 25,000 tons of gasoline, equivalent to about 33 million liters, for Al-Alamia Shipping Agencies.
The Head of the Marine Services Department, Samir Al-Nabbal, confirmed to the Libyan News Agency that the Jeliana Free Zone administration prioritized the tanker’s entry without any delay to ensure the stability of the local market and a regular supply of fuel.
Al-Nabbal also explained that the tanker GEA is currently in the anchorage area awaiting its turn to unload a shipment of 10,000 tons of gasoline, equivalent to approximately 13 million liters, for Al-Badr Shipping Agencies. He noted that work is underway to unload the shipment and pump it immediately to the depots of the Brega Petroleum Marketing Company.
