Libya – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aguila Saleh, met with Paul Soler. Soler is French President Emmanuel Macron’s Special Envoy to Libya. The meeting took place in Paris.
During the meeting, Soler affirmed France’s support for the House of Representatives. He supported its efforts to organize simultaneous presidential and parliamentary elections. Soler also praised the outcomes of the 6+6 Committee. He called it an important consensual step regarding electoral laws. He emphasized the necessity for the committee to continue its work.
