He elaborated on these factors in special remarks to the Qatari website Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed. The decline in the dinar’s value against foreign currencies is a key factor.
Increased import costs also contribute to the price hikes. Additionally, seasonal demand associated with the month of Ramadan plays a role.
