State Council member Mansour Al-Hassadi said that the seven-member committee chosen to study the roadmap did not take into account the political diversity within the Council.
Absence of Political and Geographical Diversity
In a statement to “Al-Masar” TV, Al-Hassadi explained that most of the selected committee members belong to the same faction, adding that the geographical representation of the Council members, who represent 13 electoral constituencies, was also not taken into account.
Entrenchment of Domination Instead of Consensus
He pointed out that this selection entrenches domination and does not support the required consensus within the Council.
