The former director of the National Center for Health System Development, Dr. Adel Al-Deeb, commented on the circulating video clips of the head of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh, rebuking the director of Tripoli Central Hospital and a number of administrative officials in front of the cameras, holding both the head of the authority and the hospital director responsible.
Criticism of the Approach in Front of CamerasAl-Deeb said in a statement to the “Asharq Al-Awsat” newspaper that Qaderbouh was wrong when he chose an unprofessional approach in front of the cameras, which made the scene appear as if it detracted from the dignity of doctors.
Responsibility of the Hospital ManagementHe added that the hospital director was no less at fault for clinging to his position despite the lack of conditions that would allow him to make any improvements, stressing that the problem lies in the confusion between the doctor as a professional and the administrator as a manager.
