Al-Jufra – Ahmed Al-Nimr continued his field tour. He is tasked with overseeing projects of the Development and Reconstruction Fund of Libya. These projects are located in the southern region. His tour was to Al-Jufra Municipality. This was done under the directives of Engineer Al-Qassam Khalifa Haftar. Haftar is the Fund’s Director-General. The visit included the cities of Sokna, Waddan, Hun, and Al-Fuqaha.
This tour is part of a strategic plan. The plan aims to rebuild the south. It involves integrating municipalities into this reconstruction effort. It also prepares for an upcoming visit by the Fund’s Director-General. During this visit, development projects will be announced. These projects will focus on education, health, and infrastructure. They will also address electricity, water, and sanitation. These vital services have continuously deteriorated. This is a result of years of neglect.
These efforts are part of the Development and Reconstruction Fund of Libya’s program. The program aims to support development. It also seeks to improve services across various areas of southern Libya.
