Rome – Libyan Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Dr. Salah Al-Din Al-Namroush, met with his Italian counterpart, Lieutenant General Luciano Portolano, at the General Staff headquarters in Rome. Al-Namroush received an official welcome at the start of the visit.
The two officials held a bilateral meeting to discuss ways to strengthen military cooperation between Libya and Italy. The talks focused on joint training, capacity building, and experience exchange to enhance the skills and professional abilities of military personnel.
They reviewed the positive results achieved in recent years through military collaboration and stressed the importance of building on this progress. Both sides emphasized expanding areas of partnership to serve common interests and support bilateral relations between the two military institutions.
